Founder & President
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Ernest has worked with some of the most high-profile brands, celebrities and media outlets in the world. A believer in education and empowerment, Ernest is driven by his passion to help others achieve their goals and make a positive impact on society. Through his work at Nottingham, Ernest has helped clients craft their unique brand messaging and amplify it across various channels including traditional and new age media. As a disruptor and cultural ambassador, Ernest has found success in bridging the gap between traditional and new-age media.
Passionate about propelling black entrepreneurs to new heights, Ernest partnered with world-renowned publicist Yvette Noel Schure (Beyoncé, Prince) to create “My Publicist Is Black,” a 5013c non-profit organization that’s committed to promoting diversity & inclusion within the public relation and marketing sector while highlighting the importance of equal pay and opportunities for minorities in entertainment.
Having worked with the likes of William H. Macy, Nick Cannon, Hot 97 and City Girls, Ernest prides himself on having an impeccable work ethic with heavy focus on strategy, creativity and execution. Beginning with Fashion Nova during their earlier years, Ernest oversaw all public relation efforts for the brand in addition to leading the charge on various marketing campaigns, including the launch Fashion Nova Men, Nova Home, Nova Kids and both Cardi B capsule collections. While representing Fashion Nova, some of Ernest’s accomplishments include countless brand partnerships, the inception of the company’s philanthropic division Fashion Nova Cares in addition to being named #1 Most Googled Fashion Brand for two consecutive years.
In 2023, Ernest made Black Enterprises’ coveted 40 Under 40 list for his achievement in entertainment alongside Offset, Ziwe, Quinta Brunson & Devale Ellis. Diverse Representation has praised Ernest as being “one to watch” in 2024 and Inc. Magazine highlighted him a two-page spread highlighting Nottingham’s impressive growth, an accomplishment that landed Ernest and Nottingham Agency on their Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in America for 2023.
Senior Vice President
Chanel Green is an entertainment publicist with over 25 years of experience in the music, entertainment and fashion industries. She began her career at PMP/Loud Records where she was integral in the successes of artists including The Wu-Tang Clan, Xzibit, Funkmaster Flex, Big Pun and more. In 1998, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to accept a Vice President position at LaFace Records where she worked with TLC, Toni Braxton, Usher, OutKast, P!nk, Cee-Lo Green and Goodie Mob. Highlights include breaking new artists, P!nk, Usher and OutKast, to multi-platinum, international success. Her editorial and television relationships secured early press exposure and peaking with national magazine covers and international television appearances.
In 2000, her then boss, Antonio “LA” Reid, took over Arista Records. Chanel was one of 13 out of 125 LaFace employees chosen to accompany her boss in his new role with a position at Arista Records in New York City. With an influx of female artists, Chanel was able to incorporate beauty and fashion into much more of her planning with artists like Whitney Houston, Avril Lavigne, Dido, Sarah McLachlan and more. During these years, Chanel would also be lead on projects that included signed labels, Diddy’s Bad Boy and Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def.
Chanel accepted a Vice President position with Mathew Knowles’ company, Music World Entertainment, and she began a role as both manager to clients and their publicist. Product managed Baby Jamz, Solange Knowles and Lyfe Jennings for the management side of the company. She was the closest and most trusted to Solange Knowles, with whom she worked alongside during her tenure at the company. She traveled with Ms. Knowles on all fashion week trips inclusive of Milan, Paris and New York where she utilized her editorial relationships to secure features and magazine cover shoots on the road.
